So after inspiration from ARCS I ordered the calipers, spray painted them and ordered the Textar pads for the F20 M135i. All looked good.
However,I ran into trouble as I didn’t buy the 340mm F20 discs. I thought the 35iS 340mm would be fine! They are not. So you definitely need to have the correct discs or the pads interfere on the hub hat and they are too big for the disc surface. Live and learn.
Well all done and brake bleed procedure complete. Ran 10 x 60 to 10mph heat cycles. They just need to bed in properly for the right pedal feel.
Discs I went with Brembo. Discs
Pads were Pads
Pedal didn’t feel quite right so ran another bleed. This time using the same method on ISTA but on my Autel. It runs the ABS pump on each corner in turn. The result was a much better feel.
I’ve also coded the VO with SPBR to ensure the DSC knows. I used ProTool for this. Very easy.
So a lot of learning but all good in the end.
