Alonso, Sauber, Perez :happyclap:

Great race with an outstanding drive by the top 2.
+1

I'm quite enjoying the BBC highlights so far. I didn't manage to avoid the Australian result, but did so for today's race. What an absolutely cracking race, once of the best I've seen for a while. Just a shame Schumacher wasn't allowed to compete fairly as I reckon he'd have had a stormer today in those conditions.

Likewise on Schumacher - ever since his return everyone has been waiting to see if given a potentially race winning car, can he still win!

but what did you make of the radio call his team made just before he ran wide? Ferrari influenced? I couldn't see Ferrari letting a satellite team with their engine pass them for a victory....
Unfortunately you're probably right - it'd never be proven as I guess they're all too careful. Cynical, me? Never...

Found DC's commentary post race when showing Vettel's puncture highly ammusing.... didn't realise he was such an expert at giving "the bird"! :)

That was fantastic, proper road rage. If they'd had another red I bet we'd have gotten a great shot of him climbing out the car and giving a good beating

Agree with comments above re: Sky - it's clunky and nowhere near as polished as the BBC, but some of the programmes on after the racing and through the week are totally absorbing.

Great race, wish it rained every week :)

Great drive from Sergio Perez, didn't win because he didn't want to p off future employers Ferrari perhaps? Big improvement from Crofty on commentary as well thank goodness.

What were the emergency radio calls at the end with Vettel all about?

From what I have read, I think it was brake damage due to the puncture.

Yip, think they were afraid his rear brake disk was on the point of exploding. On the high speed corners in Malaysia it would've really tested Vettel's reactions and car control...

Regarding DC & Vettel's hand signals - it was a lol moment!

Pleased to see JB on pole for Spa, and the make up of the grid should make for a good race too.

+1 on that RidgyDidge... can't believe it's his first pole for 3 years!! Just about to sit down and watch. The sun is past the yard arm, so I may even have a beer too!

Eye watering accident, the view from Alonso's car was horrendous :o

go go go Jenson

it means I can spend the whole Sunday doing something productive and then sit down in front of the TV for some F1 and Top Gear with dinner/cups of tea/beers. To me that's quite a good Sunday night

I agree this is a good thing if you can avoid Radio 1 telling you the result all day - they never tell you to turn your radio off if you don't wanna hear the results!!!!

For the record I totally disagree with Sky taking over the world of sport :x
