F1 in the stadium

Looks like bernie and his boys have put in a bid for the olympic stadium for after the shambles (sorry olympics) to turn into part of a race track......

The location wouldn't fit very well with a 'City of London' GP they've talked about recently though. Maybe in reality they know fine well they'd never be able to oil all the political wheels to have a proper road race in the capital. A stadium based race would be good to see - it's a shame they keep making an mess of races in the US where there were places like Indy that were effectively stadiums. I'd love to see the Race of Champions one year partly for the stadium atmosphere. Shame when it was in London in was ridiculously expensive from what I recall.

Would be interesting to see how they suggest integrating an oval stadium into part of an F1 circuit...
