Looked a bit iffy to me - Nico messing about with his steering wheel before locking up and going down the escape lane effectively putting paid to Lewis's chance of pole :x

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Of course just watched this on highlights - being a poor southerner I can't afford Sky  Apparently it was investigated afterwards and no action taken

I didn't think he did, he's been cleared anyway. Just glad Lewis didn't get it :)

You're a fan of Lewis then ?

Fantastic great to see Hamilton on the back foot can't stand him - go Rosberg Hamilton will probably try and get passed him at the start and make a bolloxs of both their races - sorry not a Hamilton fan Sulks like a child !

I can defo see these 2 coming to blows on the track before the end of the season. Will be like the good old days of Senna vs Prost...

I'm not sure Nico is that cunning tbh. Risk flatspotting a tyre that you need in the race? Naah, just one of those things.
Is it because of the ever increasing hyperbole of skysports commentators that we all start to.think these things automatically? Or is it Prost/Senna/Schumacher?

It wasn't going off that was the issue. It was reversing back up the run off area that was the problem.

Obviously reversing back toward the track was deliberate. He knew Hamilton was behind him on track. He knew the consequences of what he was doing.

If it wasn't cheating, it was something near to it IMO.

Like Hamilton or don't like him, Rosberg was naughty.

+1. First mistake all weekend and he did it when Hamilton was on a flyer. Conned everyone IMHO. 1st corner is going to be interesting tomorrow.

Don't like Hamilton for the reasons mentioned above, not sure if Rosberg did it intentionally, I'd hope not, I want him to beat Hamilton fair and square!

I don't get this "I don't like LH because he sulks", surely he should be judged by his on-track behaviour & skills, from what I can see this season his driving has been epic & exciting.

Who knows whether previous racers of bygone era's sulked when things didn't go their way, they certainly weren't in the media spotlight in the days of Fangio/Clark etc like the F1 drivers of today.

I think only Nico can know whether his actions were deliberate, I'd rather hope not as he always comes across as a nice guy, in any case if he did purposefully go off in quali & then went on to win today it would make the victory a bit hollow.

Redbull 1-2

Sorry Woots, but RBR have had it their own way for too long & they would prefer to not win in circumstances like that, but I'm particularly enjoying SV being whipped by the new boy so far. , all I can say is Karma for all the times that MW's car broke down or had inferior parts compared to SV's car.

Tbh ATM I think we would happily take a win whatever the circumstances...obv a real win would be preferred but I want victory champagne on Tuesday

It's gonna be close though...let's see how the pit stops play out...

+1 can't wait till it kicks off! More likely if Nico gets the upper hand. Lewis will sulk like a little girl as per usual when things don't go his way.

Also can't believe Lewis hasn't commented on F1 being boring this season. He did, several times, in 2013 when same driver won all the races at the tail end of last year. Funny that.

Also this

Not a deliberate act at all.
As he said himself LH would have beaten him on his final run. He over drove it and missed the corner. Yellow flag made sense on a run off the length of a drive.

Just one of those things that happens if you time your last run to the last moment, however I'm sure NH felt smug about the outcome.

Should be a good race today.
