F1 Barca

Sebs just been very unlucky....started with Daniel having no luck
and it's now shifted onto Seb....unfortunate but fingers crossed we have better reliability tomorrow

I think we've got a good chance for 3rd and 4th tomorrow, especially with a few upgrades we've bought along

But hamiltons current supremacy is unquestionable

The Mercedes car is in a different league, must be quite demoralising for Red Bull Woots?

starting to lose faith in McLaren

To be honest it's not really....for me personally I'm not really worried about chasing the mercs...the top concern is fending off the Ferrari...at the start of the year I think morale would've been low but everyone works 15 hour days in winter so they'd probably have been more annoyed of no social time lol

Aside from the reliabity issues which as you know being an engineer sars...unfortunately things happen which you can't really prepare for or expect...things just go bang...electrical items fail even though most parts are brand new when fitted to th cars, it would be more annoying if the design was inherently wrong but we've seen that even with a power deficit we are beating the Ferrari so we've got done positives

I feel for the lotus boys...you could see their anger when Maldonado crashed..again...think they'll be more angry about that

Hamilton knew when to jump to Mercedes, last year was a bonus for him I think this car was the reason he moved. It looks like Button is losing faith with McLaren also sars, big Ron will not be happy with the way things are going. Red Bull will be back Lotus were quickest in the speed trap so Renault have the power Newey will sort the rest....
It's Hamiltons to lose tomorrow

Woots - I take it from this thread that you work for Red Bull?

Cool!!!!

What do you do?

Agree about Molonado and I don't care how much money he brings to Lotus, the guy is out of his depth. One of the best things about this season is that we are seeing ability shining through, the cars are a lot less easier to drive and it's catching the lesser mortals out.

I worry that JB will retire this year, I hope not, still one of the smoothest drivers out there, can't remember when he last binned the car, and we are back to Molonado again :headbang:

As for Vettel, he really is having a torrid time, and to top it all, he's got a teammate pulling his pants down at every meet

Yep, can't see why mal is still driving....must be infuriating! I'm looking forward to seeing what comes of this girlie test driver....do we think she will take a driving seat next year? Must have some weight advantage as well as the media coverage of a female f1 driver?
Yeah sadly I think jbs years are running out :(

Woots, Simona de Silvestro, I'm all for having women in the sport, but they have to be there on merit, not because of gender

Oh and she's 149 lb, so tall and with muscles

Oh not as light as I'd hoped....in a non sleazy way for once
Do we think she's any good in an f1 car?

She hasn't a super license yet but the feeling is she has some talent, has been racing in single seats in the Indycar series and finished 13th overall last year

If rather see her come last than see Maldonado crash every other weekend

Mrs Wolf (married to Toto @ Mercedes) has lots of experience, but at 31 she is probably to old to start, shame she's British too

Must so depressing, as an engineer to see your car frequently wrecked by a paid driver, you can see it in their faces

At least Perez seems to have calmed down

and what about Max, good result today

I'm an electronic test and inspection engineer mate

Thats a good job then as I was gonna ask why you keep saying ''We''

Lewis Hamilton is a fanny. I respect him as a driver, but as a person - he's a total fanny.

Last year he was all "I don't want success as easy as Sebastian" when Seb won a race by 30s.

We all know Merc would have won each race this year by at least 30s if they were trying.

This year Merc are 1s (edit - PER LAP) faster than anyone else. If not more.

Do you see Lewis offering to slow down? No. Instead he has grown a new American accent to boast about how fast he is.
