F1 2019 on Ch4

I got a little excited about the new season until i saw the front row :(

Formula E is where it's at these days :D

Did you see that the entire MotoE (equivalent of Formula E for MotoGP) field was destroyed in a fire during pre-season testing? Madness!

. No different to 2018, it has become a line of traffic with no racing.
With you ref Formula E

I can watch it on sky but wait to watch c4 as their coverage is so much better!

Who's the one on sky that always gets the names wrong? He drove me mad last year :headbang:

I agree. Was gutted that the ferraris had not got the pace of the mercs. Not that I prefer one or the other, just wanted to see the thing mixed up a bit.
The formula e race last Sunday however was great to watch. First time I have watched it but won’t be the last.

Yes, I was hoping the Ferraris might have been nearer to the Mercs.

But then they also weren't as quick as the Mercs last year at Melbourne either - but they gave them some good competition at other circuits so the same may happen this year too.

I'll live with C4 highlights - if Sky did F1 on it's own I could possibly be tempted, but you have to have all that other stuff I wouldn't use!

I'm really not interested in Formula E, but it's probably an age thing. I'd rather watch V10s than hybrids.

I'd watch a bit more Formula E if it wasn't for the fact that they race on made up street tracks, I find these type of tracks boring for viewing. I like to see an open flowing track with run off and gravel traps.
I wonder why this is :?

Fair. I'd rather watch racing drivers that fashionistas posing round the ring though

Probably because you’re so used to visiting them they feel like home Nige....those along with X-ray down at Calow..... :poke: :poke: :poke:

You could be right about the age thing. Another oldie here who has zero interest in watching electric cars racing. 😀 How can I be a petrol head without any petrol? A bit like Jaguar flogging electric E Types at £300k a pop. An absolute travesty! 😟
