Hi all,

For Sale a FlyLinkTech car jumper starter park for for all petrol cars and diesel cars up to 7.0 litres in capacity. This is an unwanted Xmas gift.

It is still in the box and was bought from Amazon.

I already have one of these and don’t require 2 of them so this is up for grabs.

This was sold for £65.59 up until earlier this month but looks like they are now out of stock.

I am after £50 Posted.

Used my one of these twice on my E46 M3 which was totally flat to the point point where it wouldn’t even unlock the doors and it fired straight up with ease and still had 3 lights on the battery status monitor.

Pictures of the unit below. (The pictures are of my opened one the one i am selling is unused.)

Thanks

Ash

Only just seen this Kis,

I'd do £45 Posted if that helps.

I could meet you at the station but i am working long hours currently inc saturdays so time is a little limited, it would depend on what time of day etc

Hi mate, okay no probs, lets to the £45 posted? PM me and we can sort

Yes sorry, it arrived a while back, charged it up and seems perfect. I guess I won't know how good it is until I get a flat
Cheers Ash

With this 'stay at home' policy you will probably need this gismo when you want to start the car!
The 335 is on the drive and hasn't been started for two weeks and I got a slow crank speed and when it started I got warning re the battery levels.

Cars these days seem very heavy on batteries, z4’s especially so after reading all the issues on here

My old pals son has just asked me what he should do as he has a Diesel Audi with no garage/drive - He was either A) going to run it fo 15mins every week or B) Buy one of these gizmos - I suggested he buys a Solar Charger - They only give 0,2amps - will that be enough to top up any natural drain do you think?
Running a diesel for 15min is a big NO NO in my book.

The solar panels do work esp if he can have the windscreen south facing. They should not be classed as a charger, more a maintainer so he should make sure the battery is fully charged first. Also check the cigarette lighter is always live (many aren’t) in which case I would suggest one that plugs into the obd socket like the AA one.

Many thanks for that- he definitely needs to keep the battery topped up - I’ve warned him that there is a potential DPF clogging situation if he does the 15min fast tickover once a week.

I've invested in a ctek recently, using a 30 meter extension it can easily reach all our cars if they are on the drive. (the extension reel and ctek can be popped through the window, then wound up till it's just a crack). So just a matter of rotating them on and off the drive. If you start the charge in the morning, it's normally done by the evening so you don't have to leave it overnight.

Ironically works for all cars but the Zed! No folding rear seats!

Unfortunately the fella has not got a drive - the 240v cable would have to go over a public footpath.

Might have an issue with the solar then, as said it only maintains, doesn't really charge.
So you'd have to ensure the battery is fully topped up first. Before putting it on a solar maintainer.

Yes - I did the volts/watts conversion and it’s only circa 0.2 amps - and only during daylight of course! (About 12hours ?)
It should replace the normal loss tho,

Either way - a new battery @ £300 V a new DPF @ £1300 - I know which way I’d go and it wouldn’t be starting the car for 15mins a week,
