F/S: Freshly refurb'd 107's £375

I picked these up from a forum member recently looking a little worse for wear. They've been dipped, blasted and powder coated in Sparkle Silver and finished with clear coat for added protection, they look awesome when the sun hits the metallic finish. Set of four in standard staggered fitment

Two of the wheels have had cracks repaired some time ago before I bought them, the seller had them checked and they run true. One of the wheels has a small lump in the powder coat but you wouldn't notice without looking for it, the insides were heavily corroded so the finish isn't 100% smooth but they're good to go.

Looking for £375 or a deal with some CSL style wheels or similar, maybe even a px with a set of 108's.

As promised, more pictures. The wheels are all boxed up and can be posted for £30

I've tried to show as much detail as possible so the new owner won't be disappointed, any inspection welcome.

They look nice & price spot on
price seems a bit high to me as two have been welded buddy?

I've had to have 2 sets of BMW alloys welded and I've never had any issues afterwards, when you factor in the cost for refurbing I think the price is ok but will listen to offers.

I agree entirely, on the price.. Somewhat, optimistic - for a set of - as was, damaged, with cracks and now, poorly welded, then refurb's rims, IMHO.. Soz..

With all due respect, whoever welded these, needs to go SpecSavers - then, maybe undertake some remedial Welding training :o - as, it's far from the best or even let's say, good
Then, there's the quality of the powder coat finish on the rims.. Questionable, to be honest and added to that, it's no where near, the OE colour, also.. Great, if you want a Christmas Tree, sparkly set of rims, on your car though!

Best of luck with the sale..
Cheers..

Not at any price with those welds and lumps

Turd and polished

How much?

Is there really any need for this post, people can make their own minds up on the repair and the finish, BMW rims crack frequently, these can easily be repaired and cause no further issues, it's not an OE finish think that's pretty obvious!

Hey El Taco wondered how long it would take you to show up, figured you'd be down at Maccy d's but then I guess it is a school night after all!

I can't understand why members feel the need to be so negative about these for sale threads.
Woolybear, your comments are rude and add no constructive feedback at all. You are of course entitled to your opinion but why the need for the negative comments?
Anyone buying can clearly see for themselves the condition of the wheels, so are able to make their minds up without your comments.
If I remember correctly you did the same thing on my for sale thread. You can voice your opinion in a more diplomatic way than this, there certainly was no need for the Specsavers comment and the Christmas tree comment as you could be putting off potential buyers.
El taco= Troll, why waste your time even commenting?

Op, my advise, nice wheels, obvious repair and look to have been refurbed ok. These will sell but I think they will sell quicker around the £300 mark.
I would try an auction on eBay and maybe put a reserve, I sold mine for just under the asking price on here, you'll always get the silly el taco messages, (will you take a tenner etc.), but they will sell for sure. GLWTS! :)

Thanks Bazzab, totally agree with what you said, it's not like I'm hiding anything in the description. Don't understand why certain members feel the need to comment on for sale threads if they're not interested in buying.

If I'd advertised them as "perfect condition" and the pictures show the repairs etc then fine but otherwise what's the point. I like the forum being free to use but would happily pay a subscription if it closed certain areas of the forum to non subscribers and trolls!

Any price is always open to sensible offers!

Sorry, you do not think my comments are constructive..
However, they are very FACTUAL.. The sellers photos, tell the truth. :!:

If, you combine the poor quality welding and a poor and in-correct colour, finish for a set of 107s - on the Powder Coated wheels..
Added to which: If the un-trained eye'd and odd naive Individual, was looking at these, - then they may end up with something that is potentially, not quite, what they thought it was - and end up with something, which they may be stuck with, as people would NOT be aware of the said issues, of both quality and potential safety issues..

I personally, would not touch these, - even if they were £100.. But, that's my personal call..

Everyone to their own and an Ad, on eBay - may work and they may sell on there? Who knows..

I usually hate the typical forum punctuation police and admit that I struggle to get it right most of the time.

Woolybear, I find reading your posts exceptionally frustrating. To the point where I loose interest in the actual content due to the excessive use of punctuation. I'm not trying to hijack this thread or cause offence but it would a lot easier for us to enjoy your contributions if you had a quick look at this: http://www.wikihow.com/Use-English-Punctuation-Correctly

The colour was never meant to be OE, it was my choice as I was planning on using the wheels myself, the colour finish is clearly stated and the pictures clearly show what they look like, if I'd wanted them OE I would have done them that way. As for the welding, the repair was completed some time ago and they have been in use since without any issue, I've had BMW wheels welded before and so have other members.

They finish is not advertised as an original colour, the weld repair is obvious to anyone who reads the description and looks at the pictures so they are able to make their own minds up. I'm pretty sure anyone with eyes that is able to read would be able to figure out what was advertised without the pointless comments made by other forum users who seem to have nothing better to do

The pics are good. The seller has been clear in the description and the refurb. Not sure why members want to be so aggressive on line (keyboard hero's :o ). If members don't want to buy that's cool don't buy ............but why the negative?

Hi.
Noted and many thanks.
I only managed a 1st Class Degree, in English Language. Albeit, this was some years ago.

However, the prior and simple facts stand.
