Hi all, hope things are well around here!

As you may recall, I sold my Zed in December to make way for an Audi S5 - very happy with the S, though miss the fish-tailing adventures of the Zed...

I'm selling the strut brace I had fitted - it's on eBay at the moment, all the details there.

Let me know if you're interested: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-Z4-e8...CarParts_SM&fits=Model:Z4&hash=item1c2f5f43fd

All the best,
Si

If you need the nuts and caps, I have the part numbers from when I bought them. 6 of each was about £55 with 10% "forum discount" from the dealer

Don't buy new nuts from BMW, Locktite is sufficient to prevent loosening

Only if the brace comes with them :poke:

Do not, whatever you do, try and use the existing turret nuts, they do not give enough thread coverage. The ones it should come with have an extension "sleeve" that extends the thickness the depth of the tower mounting plates

Edited to say turret nuts...

Don't be silly, throw the nuts away and just use the Locktite

If you must use nuts, I do agree with this though

I have all the correct tower nuts to correctly and safely fit the brace included in the sale.

You're right - the standard nuts are not appropriate to fit the brace.

would this fit the Z4 coupe? It’s not listed on the BMW listing on ebay

The coupe was built on the roadster, just a roof added and a slightly different windscreen

It will block the oil filler cap... Like it does on mine... But i never need to fill it between services so its not a problem.
