Cheap SI roady there for someone , rare colour combo looks ace & a set of 224s thrown in

Originally looked at selling in December but decided to keep it, hence getting the 224 alloys. I've actually reduced the price since then as I need to sell as I am close to getting the M3 and sadly can't have both!
It really is a fantastic car and I hate to think how much I have spent on it.

I was up close with the same paint/caramel trim combo last week at the breaky meet & it looked a treat .
The dash & centre console i suspect will put some off but my thoughts are once in the seat it probably sits really well with the cars other trim

I had a classic 60's roadster when I was younger so a wooden dash in a 2-seater roadster made sense. Not saying a piano black dash wouldn't also look nice though!

Did changing the Diff/Transmission fluid make any difference? And was it a complicated job??

I'm just about to hit 95k and was thinking of changing the fluids.

Changing the diff oil didn't make any noticeable difference although the diff on my car wasn't noisy beforehand anyway. Worth doing when you see the colour of the oil that comes out!
Gearbox oil made the gear changes a lot smoother and again the oil that comes out is filthy.

Both jobs are easy. Jack the car up on 4 jack stands so that the car is level. Make sure you can undo the FILL plug FIRST before you drain the oil out of either the gearbox or the diff. This is the most important thing as you won't be able to put the oil back in if the FILL plug is seized!!

Also an oil pump makes filling easier. something like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/QUICKSILV...ES-/181424240207?_trksid=p2141725.m3641.l6368

Car has now been sold. E46 M3 has been bought and should be ready to collect in the next few days. :D

Nice work , feel free to post up some details + pics of the M3 , prices & standards are all over the place so difficult finding the gem's at reasonable ££ :? my son is getting tempted with a switch from his R32 into one

It's a 2004 with immaculate carbon black paintwork, black electric heated leather interior. Only 70k miles. Newly refurbed 19" alloys.

Typically I forgot to take any photos. Hopefully will be picking it up on Saturday or early next week.

I've wanted one of these for about 5 years and have watched as prices have started to rise for original examples and figured it's now or never.

I will miss the Zed, especially now the weather is getting better. But I needed an M in my life but needed a bit more room than in the Zed!
