Washed the zed today, there were 2 bird s**ts on the bonnet and both have damaged the paint, the laquer looks dull and slightly raised, ive tried g3 on it and it looks a tiny bit better, but i can still see it :headbang: any suggestions????? wet sanding?
 
Dont go to mad just yet.....

Birdturd etchings always look worse when first done...

Leave it a couple of days and get some compound on a DA to remove whats left... You should be ok if the turd had been on a short time.

Wet sanding may be needed,but last resort really..

Thanks mate i think im starting to calm down now! ive been away so it may have been there about a week, i'll leave it for now and have a look in a few days :thumbsup:
 
I had a bird turd on my CTR bonnet that etched up the laquer, I was dressing it but a cut over with a DA and polished back up and you'd have never known it had happened.

I'm sure if you pop to a local body shop they will do it for you, it took like 10mins.
 
Lightly go over with a Hot air gun or hair dryer, will help draw it out of the lacquer. Don't stay in one place for too long.
