Of course it's the Daily Mail so taken with a pinch of salt.
Seems the tolls apply to roads that are widened or improved. I'd also not condemn the proposals unti I understood them and which of the huge raft actually come out as viable. The current system of annual excise duty is not a good one and something needs to change.
Living near the M6T I'm all for paying a toll and getting a decent clear road, although I use it mostly on company expenses, but take the Z4 hooning down the A and B roads :wink:
