Extra in-car Power

Hi,

Just exploring options really. Dont know about anybody else but I have several in-car accessories that all at some point require power/re-charging from the cigarette lighter... for example:

iPod, Sat-Nav, Mobile Phone

Now some of these have their own chargers which use the car socket directly, others have USB charging cables (iPod)

Even if they all had the same types of power source, there is only one socket so only one could be plugged in at once. Has anyone got any elegant solutions to this or am I simply dreaming?

I have noticed that some of the later cars have a built in USB socket (not sure about the z4), is this something that could be retro-fitted?

Anybody got any ideas?

Thanks for reading :)

Fanks :)

Doesnt that just move the existing one? or could it be added to make 2 in total available?
Right it is a replacement but I seem to recall Andy (Owner of LeatherZ) had mentioned sometime ago that they could be added as additional outlets. If interested I would suggest sending him an email.

Product such as this are also cheap, easy, and removable when not needed.

Thanks for the replies guys :)

Probably just end up still juggling the cables. TBH times where I would need more than one device plugged in are fairly rare I suppose.

Will have to get an in-car iPod charger though...

Cheers
