Had to laugh at this, the public have had enough and the mood is turning.
Why attack public transport, the tube is the cleanest way of moving millions of people around cities.

It seems like, as with so many of these well-meaning causes, the radical elements take over and everyone else be damned.
72% of the Extinction Rebellion members did not want any disruption to the Tube network as part of the protests. Now they all look like idiots to the public - as you said, bit of an own-goal...

Bit of national service for each and every member. Would sort a few priorities.

Yep, I'm in favour of the return of National Service - it's looked a much more appealing prospect since I passed the age where it would apply to me 😉

Sixty three years ago apparently.

I was listening to LBC the other night, before this stunt happened and the guy for TFL said anyone who interfered with a train could face life imprisonment.
Fingers crossed then

I think National Service intake ended in at the end of 1960 - I would have been 13 at that time.
I don't think it did anybody any harm - Ive worked with a few fellas over the years and there's certainly none of them come to any harm.

I used to interfere with trains on a regular basis, but TFL did pay me to do it :P
