One thing on my list to do for my coupe has been to replace some of the worn rubber trims/weather strips/seals/whatever they're called. Specifically the front and rear windscreen ones and the seals which surround the windows as they retract into the doors. From research the front weather seal is an easy push fit replacement. The rear however looks to be seated under the windscreen albeit a separate part.
My question is has anyone done this before and if so what is the process? Full rear windscreen removal? (i'm hoping not) If it's too difficult then its not an immediate issue but there is wear/perishing so would rather sort sooner than later. Equally the same issue with the window seals/trims. Does this require full dismantling of the door/window assembly to do or is it easier than it looks?
Cheers,
Barny
