Extended warranty

Ok, my Zed is now just 6 months away from being 3 years old. I think it might make sense to hang onto it for another year or two, since there's nothing obvious I would replace it with at the moment. I'm just wondering if anybody wants to hazard a guess as to what an extended warranty might cost? I'm guessing the sDrive 23i should be cheaper to extend the warranty on, than say the 35i...?

Of course, depending on the comments from a fellow member on Tuesday regarding his new purchase, things might change! 8) :D

E85 2.5si was £41 per month top cover zero excess. I wouldn't expect the E89 to be much more if any.

For my old 2.5 si sport BMW which was 3 years old this july was £39 per month £100 excess per claim. This is for everything (exclude the same as the normal 3yr wty) including breakdown and recover via bmw emergency assist (so like the normal wty). I did it per month (no difference in price) as I knwe I was going to px.

Other options are

£29 for main parts

£19 for basic

You can change the price via excess or take out assist.

warty direct was £700+ so i never bothered only with the BMW one. this did not include bmw bits or recovery.

Still 2 months in i have now canceled as i have a 10 plate z4 now. so £39 towards the next new one in 2yrs. SI sport retailed at £32K

Thanks guys. I think I would probably only go with the BMW extended warranty. Costs seem not too bad, and would also want emergency assist included.
