Does anyone like a particular extended warranty company? What should I look for as far as coverage? Thanks

My partner uses Warranty Direct on her Polo. I personally hate it. Choose BMW with no excess. :)

I was wondering that too - I bought AUC so it'll be ok till next year but some stories about repairs needed (and the bill to go with it) sounds worrying as the zed gets older!

I read on here someone was quoted £39/month for full BMW warrenty with no excess - thats a whopping £471 a year :o

That's cheap. I used to pay £75 a month for my E60.

Wow £75/month = £900 year :o

Wouldn't it be cheaper taking the chance and paying for the repair if it happens or are 5 series that expensive to repair?

5-series have more advanced technologies, e.g. computer-based servicing, i-Drive, etc. That's why warranty is more expensive.

Ahh, I see..... 900 squids for something that you might not need sounds alot still though! May be I need to get used to the world of prestige (ish) car ownership :)
