Extended Leather

I would like to extend the leather on the centre column i have seen photos but not one in the flesh yet.

How would you go about retrofitting it?

Not sourced anything yet i don't know if this is a BMW part if so i guess costly,maybe a trimmers job?
 
O/T you know the little tray on the centre console behind the handbreak but before the cabinet door, can anyone tell me how that comes out? Some of the American cars have some gadget in the gap but we have the blank tray.

I want to replace mine as its a bit damaged. Any ideas?

What lives there in the US models??

My car was imported from the U.S. The SOS button is at the very rear of the center console near the center compartment. If you have a LeatherZ armrest, the SOS button sits behind the armrest under a plastic cover.

Yes it's piano black, I like the look of champagne leather on the sides of the tunnel.

I take it no one has retro fitted this :(
 
I maybe wrong (as usual) but check with Lucy, i think she as extended leather and her centre consol is just a standard piano trim
 
Shame animal, i had an extended leather center console in champagne that i gave away last year. Wrong time and place or you could have had it. :(

I've not retrofitted it, but this is what the factory 'extended leather' with piano black looks like.

Be prepared for regular cleaning though - nothing harsh, just a mild upholstery shampoo solution and then pat dry and then apply some conditioner.
 
WOW Thats the kiddie took a look at the italian site looks fiddely defo a trimmer job at least i have a picture to go on thanks for that :thumbsup:
