Was just wondering how many M owners have extended leather? And what it looks like on a car with a non-black interior? Pics please :)

As a deep sea blue with ivory leather and a previous E88 owner of black and lemon leather I get it all day long.

That E34 looks lush

Nicer leather as well, I have Oyster which is a similar colour, but the leather is not as soft as I had on my 740 which was similar inside as your E34.

Gorgeous pics mmmfive
Thanks.

I decided a long time ago - after my Corrado VR6 (which was black on black) - that I couldn't live with the heat that accumulated in the cabin of an all-black leather interior.

The main reason I got a Z4MC over a Z3MC is that I couldn't find a Z3MC with a non bicolour, light-coloured leather interior.

What is the code for extended leather. I can check and see exactly how many do have it

I love being reminded I don't have this!

Thinking Alcantara everything at some point in the future though - keep the existing Imola leather but do everything that would be black leather, if extended, plus the whole dash. Like the below vid except no fake carbon and well-hoovered!

I'd love to redo mine in the same colour, but alcantara.

I'd also love a half alcantara Recaro Pole Position seat.

Neither look likely soon though :(

You seem to have the sister car to my roadster Mmm-5. I noticed that yours has silver door handle covers where as mine has piano black to match the dash.

I wonder what options yours has? The biggest selling point for me was the colour combo and options. I don't know which options I maybe missing, would be great if someone better informed than me could enlighten me.

Mine has;
extended leather, navigation, digital tv tuner, bluetooth, cruise control, power folding mirrors, DSP, auto dimming mirror, rear parking sensors, drivers seat memory, heated seats and wind deflector.

Extended Champagne makes the interior feel far more upmarket but it's a pain to keep clean as a daily. The quality of champagne leather like my brand new E85 130i LE is not quite on par with the darker colours, the bolsters are wearing quickly and the car only has 30k miles. I can see a retrim happening soon.

What does everyone with Champagne leather use to keep it clean?

I've used Gliptone but it seems quite harsh for regular use.
