Christ, that must have been frightening for anyone within miles of it !! Devastating shockwave from firework manufacturing perhaps and given location other less legit ordnance ??
 
Seen a video of the aftermath and the bodies were laying everywhere. Not a pleasant sight, most with clothes blasted completely off them.
 
Fireworks. Do we really need them? Aren't they like 15th century entertainment? Then again so is sex. :rofl:
 
2700 tonnes of stored ammonium nitrate apparently near the fireworks warehouse.. never seen anything like that before :( poor souls
 
Supposedly recovered from a sinking ship some time ago. It was stored in a warehouse and there was a fire at the port. One ignited the other.
 
Just came across this new piece of film of the blast, that is some impressive shockwave hitting those high rise buildings, pretty amazing considering it wasn't a specifically manufactured bomb.

So basically they stored fireworks next to ammonium nitrate with someone doing a bit of work with a blowtorch, what could possibly go wrong :roll:
