Pastry was my nickname at school because it rhymed with my surname and now nearly 40yrs later, my daughter is called Pastry at school :D

Not because you like cakes and pies then ?

Stuart

I soooo wanted it to be because you made pies!!!!
 if it’s any consolation I do make a wicked turkey and ham pie :D

I am a cyclist and always have been. It's a French term which is frequently used by cyclists to indicate respect for another's achievements. By saying "chapeau", which literally means "hat", the rider is doffing his cap to a colleague for a good day's riding.

I’m Maltese born (father British/ RAF) although left Malta 1993 and in uk since 1998.

XEWKA indeed means Thorn as in “Thorn in my side” :) (also used for fish bone yes).

The car and plate are the response to a very long and painful divorce .... :( :(

Ahh, makes sense. I feel your pain. Lovely car and plate.
