Explain your name...

M1ghty_m0use because I'm only 5'8 and in my late teens / early 20's I used to train/ body build in the gym 6 days a week . People called me " Mighty Mouse"

Now 10 years later , wife and a baby I've got more like a "dad bod"

the numbers mean nothing, just when you tend to open accounts they usually ask at least one number within the user name , so this allowed the name

i left off the "ney ney ney " part that Amos was often found saying to his friend mr wilks .
The avatar when i added it reflected my frustrations whilst commuting for the bulk of my 30 years working life :( should change that now as i currently work 7 minutes from home :driving:

na keep it - the Silent Scream suits you

The origin of my name may be obvious to fantasy lit readers, as it is (partially) the name of a main character from Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth. Full version is: Zeddicus Zu'l Zorander, but I was mainly interested in having "Zed" in my name so I kept it short :)
I recommend the books by the way, although I haven't read them all yet...

As for the avatar, I'm an aerosexual and I'm proud of it

I had an E92 325i (having gone from E36 328i>>E46 328i>>E92 325i>>E86 Z4 over the course of 7 years).

Should probably change my name to ChrisN52 now really!

I need no google for that  What I want to know though is: are your hands on the yoke or are they holding the grease gun? Or maybe you're comfortably sitting in the back and your hands are just doing nothing? :D

Ha ha, that's what I was flying when I joined the 1st Z-Forum around 2003. Now in a GV. After a medical setback, I'll be going back to work in July. :headbang:

Holy thread resurrection, Batman!

I've just had a right old giggle reading through some of these forum names - I was just about to start a thread asking the same question, but I thought to do a search first and this is what popped up.

Mine is because when I was young I aspired to be a DJ, and Stan is the first part of my surname. Simples.

Mines pretty straightforward, my name is Russell, everyone at school called me Rusty, I’m sure you can work out the rest :D

It’s an old thread, but I’m a new member here, so I’ll play.

Err, the origin of my username? Well, a very good friend of mine, going right back to when our parents were friends from before we were born even, did an amusing little photo-sketch of me. It relates back to scary stories my dad used to tell us both when we were very young. Said good friend passed away about 10 years ago, in his early forties. The name ‘ErrErrminator’ reminds me of my old mate and fun times we used to have as kids. Simple really!

Here’s the sketch and that’s me. Struck is my surname.

It’s similar to my own name and it was a jump bike I owned made by a company called 24seven waaaay back in the day.

Kept it simple when I joined. Very boring just my initials. Looking at some of the handles I often wish I had been more imaginative. My wife uses quite a wide range of names for me.

Pastry was my nickname at school because it rhymed with my surname and now nearly 40yrs later, my daughter is called Pastry at school :D
