Back in the 80's that used to be on a white Renault 17 coupe in and around Bristol, but Ive not seen it for years.

I did see PAR15H on a old blue Kango van in Keynsham today though !
 
Seen some mega plates on 'normal' cars.

3 character plates on a standard family car that must be worth five times the value of the car

Could be hand me downs from parents / grandparents

That's just it.

We have to remember that not everyone is into their cars, they are just a means of getting from A to B, but the number plate is a family heirloom in some cases.
 
Mine is an heirloom was on my grandads van then my dad had it on his cars and passed down to me when he retired and moved to Tenerife. Was definitely worth more than my last car and pretty sure it is worth more than my z
 
Yup, some people have had plates for years. Quite a few 1 letter and number jobs around Edinburgh, one on a mk5 golf! There is SV 48 is on a 1997 Toyota Starlett. It lives up the road from me and moves as often as me......so like almost never.

Like everything in life, it's actually only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Someone might want that plate and be prepared to pay silly money for it.
