There I was - just washed and polished the zed in the sunshine - car looks stunning - tucks it up the garage - just about to close the garage and hear a fluttering in the rafters - bugger I think - a bird's decided to roost in our garage and undoubtedly will shite all over my pride and joy - shine a torch and see the little blighter ( a blue tit ) laughing ( so to speak ) at me. Then disaster strikes - in my haste to locate the little sod I dislodge an empty plastic petrol can that was kept out of the way up in the rafters and it falls and hits my beloved's front wing just in the right place to inflict a dent. Dear me I splutter - thats a nuisance !!!!! Thanks to the majical skills of our local dent removal man the story ends well - he came this morning and got my wing back to perfect for £40 - the tit is till there though!

Nightmare but at least it was sorted fairly cheaply. I guess this is why my insurance company wanted more money out of me for garaging my Z. I think these accidents are quite common

Feel for you. My buddy had his Lotus up to perfect condition. Armorguarded the bonnet to protect it then shortly after knocked a foot tyre pump off the shelf onto it.

Full clam respray and new armorguard swiftly followed
