Expected Tyre Wear?

Make sure you get the full (possibly an hour) geometry set-up...not the quick 5 minute wheel/tyre alignment you get from most tyre fitters.

Yep I’ve got it booked in at wheelalignmentcentre Southampton and from what I read they’re highly recommended on other forums like PistonHeads and have all the kit to adjust camber, toe etc thank you

These guys are very good... :)

Road Warrior - permission to say I told you so...the bushes are well and truly knackered so they need sorting and going back for alignment! Got some powerflex ones on order and should just have time to get it sorted before road trip.

The figures with the alignment were way out so should feel much better once it’s done.

Yes we did tell you so!

Be prepared for a shock when it's had the bushes changed and the alignment done.

It'll be like a different car!

Could well be toe (out) as well excessive negative camber with that level of wear, due to scrubbing.

They also seem to wear like that if you never go round any corners. :)

Been a bit hectic so forgot to update this thread but just to say that once the new bushes were installed and alignment was done feels so much better. Much more weight and feel to the steering. Combination of that and the new tyres means the traction control isn't kicking in all the time either, loads of grip.

I'd highly recommend wheel alignment centre in Southampton. Charged £50 which considering he had to get it up on the ramps twice (once when he discovered the bushes were shot) seems very good value and clearly knows his stuff.
