Exhaust Tips - Replacement Part?

I seem to have lost one of the chrome tips from my ///M exhaust. I have no idea how this happend. Drove to Leeds, when I returned to the car, it was gone. It must have detached itself on route.

Does anyone know of a replacement part, or does anyone have on old/knackered ///M exhaust backbox that I could plunder?

The tip doesn't seem to be available as an individual part, so a breaker/aftermarket solution might be your best bet. Although if you go aftermarket you'll have to replace 4.

I have seen them for 80 each I think.... then again thats £320 :o so reckon aftermark is the way. Mine were really bad when I got them.. 2 hours later with a dremel and rubbing compound they look like new 8)

Did you remove your tips to clean them?.Mine are tarnished, still shiny but not quite shiny enough for me.Cant decide whether to take them off and try to shine them up or get them replated or buy new ones.

Could it have been stolen?-(with the price being what they are it wouldnt surprise me)

It's a possibility, I'm pretty sure I'd heave noticed if it'd been loose.

It is quite easy to do with them on, just needs a strong piece of rag with plenty of autosol or similar on it, wrap the rag over the tip and buff the outside by pulling backwards and forwards. I just put the end of a rag in a drill chuck and wrap it around the outside of the chuck to do the inside of the tip.
