Exhaust tips by Machine Monkey

I have a pair of Machine Monkey exhaust tips for sale. For those that don't know these are hand made by a forum member. They're stainless steel, great quality & are in great condition. I bought them when I was considering going for quad exhausts but I never got round to it.

£30 including UK postage.

I've added a couple of pics of mine on the car at the bottom so you can see how they look.

Sorry, should have included that :roll: 3" externally. They fit a 3.0l.

Think that’s just how they been set, I’d imagine you’d could tighten them level if you want?

They’re staggered sticking out the back of the car, meant to be that way i believe

They’re staggered sticking out the back of the car, meant to be that way i believe

Yep, staggered as Rob says. The original exhaust tips underneath finish staggered to follow the curve of the bumper. See the last 2 pics in original post. I guess you can set them as you wish though .

Oh not sure what happened to my post it must not have loaded. If these don't go and fit an 3.0si 2007 I'll take them. Need to check fitment is thst 2.8inch internal diameter at the end with the clamps (as that is narrower?)

Hi, they're 2.875" at the exit as per pic. There are quite thick shims at the location end. I'll try to get some sizes up tomorrow.

Thanks. And or, what size pipe did / does your car have that they fitted on to? Mine seem to be 2.5, not sure if that is the case on the 3.0 (non si) - yours?

Actually I just checked another post and it suggests the 3.0i and 3.0si have the same exhaust diameter leading to the back box so they should fit mine.

I'll take a punt and take them please, if they're not committed to anyone else as yet.

Hi not sure what the status is. I said I'd take if not committed to someone else... And at full asking. Not sure what you offered but if less than full asking its probably fair enough if the seller goes with full asking, if that is is tendered, which is was.

No idea though what you offered. Its best to "offer" in the open forum not privately as in that case no one knows what's going on.
