How the fudge do you remove the chrome ends? I was looking at mine yesterday thinking they need a bloody good seeing to.

They just 'pull' off.. However you may need a hammer to gently knock them from behind

I did this yesterday (except cant remove mine!) used a dremel to polish up mine!

Although i also cleaned the rest of my car :poke:

Believe it or not I only cleaned it 5 days ago! ROAD SALT :headbang:

My offer still stand to any member who can't clean them up with elbo grease alone. Take them off send them to me I will polish them up our machine polisher. The cost you pay the postage and if your happy a donation to the forum

Autosol

Do u get the Anodised Aluminium Polish or the normal Aluminium Polish? Can u use a wrong one that will cause damage?

Autosol standard. Wash outside and buff dry. Autosol liberally on both exterior and interior of pipes. Lots of clean rag. Buff outers shiny clean. Scrub inners not forgetting under the top (if you haven't removed completely). Buff inners.

Stand back.

Admire.

+1 And that's the way to do it

Well, I thought it was bad-enough keeping my RS tips like Perry's  then I went and bought something with 4 of the bleeding things to look after...and they're enclosed in a diffuser! My OCD is driving me to all sorts of methods to keep them clean, but an old toothbrush and Autosol seems my best avenue...

Before anything is said...the insides are coated black and therefore cannot be cleaned to shiny-shiny...same as the RS tips!
