Clearly the exhaust manifold is very different on a 6 vs 4 cylinder having 2 parts running separate pipes while the 2.0 merges into a single flange, which then drops to a single pipe, so you'd have to find some point to break in at that point.
Best bet would be get an exhaust shop to make an adapter for the different bore pipes and the lambda sensor. New hangers then needed end to end.
Frankly a lot of work unless you have a full 3.0i exhaust lying around and I doubt it will make much difference as BMW exhaust are fairly free flowing anyway and tuned to their respective engine
