When starting my car (2012 Z4 20i ) from cold it sounds absolutely awful, almost like the exhaust is blowing and rattling from the centre section just Infront of the driver's seat.
When warm this completely goes.
Could this be the exhaust flap people talk about, that can be rectified with the golf tee mod, or is it likely to be something else (I would have thought the exhaust flap issue would sound more like it's coming from the back box than the front)?
