Exhaust question

Hi Guys,

im selling my Powerflow Exhaust on ebay,

it was fitted to a 2.5 E85, iv been asked if it will fit a 2.0l,

the backbox is made for the twin pipes, am i correct in assuming that the 2l only has a single exhaust pipe from the mainfold and therefore would need a Y adapter to fit correctly?

just to make sure aswell it should fit the 3.0 and the coupe too?? - my reasearch says yes but im sure someone can confirm for certian.

Cheers

Can't help with your questions but I'm intrigued about this line on the ebay ad:

"The exhaust was made & fitted to a Z4 to test, then removed to be sold"

Is it some sort of prototype or am I being thick (quite likely).

Ta!

long story but i bought it for my zed for a bit of fun :D , the same day i found out that my job was no longer safe & the first thing that needed to go was the beloved zed, i called to cancel the fitting which was a bit too late as it was already on the car.

I was doubtful that id be able to sell the zed with the exhaust on as its not to everyones taste, and i didnt want to waste buyers time / mine, so i had it taken off and the factory one put back on so the car could be sold...

cant really fit all that in an ebay sales pitch, i asked the guys to make sure it was sound and works fine & to test it so i can resell it, then to take it off so i can reclaim some of the money id just spent on it, as a bonus i ended up paying additonal labour to put the old exhaust back on...

proper annoying day!

Thanks - I'll keep an eye on the auction. Did you like the sound it made?

Loved it, sounded amazing above 3000rpm, really really sporty and aggressive. its not even really carboned up so it will sound even better once its run in.

Very tempted but worried it'll be tiresome on long journeys (I use my Zed as a bit of a GT as well as country lane hooning). Not a fan of the 'chav' exhaust sound - I'm not saying it is but I@d hate to lose that wonderful 6 cylinder growl by drowning it out.
