Hey everyone,

This is partially wanting advice and partially everyones opinion.

What are the best exhaust options for a 2006 3.0i?

I'm wanting to an upgrade, but what do I go for?

Sport muffler? Quad exhaust? What?

Depends on what you want it for and budget. Performance, looks, noise, etc.

IMHO the proper quad (ie not a 'T' pipe) is he best way to go.

Looks way better and befits a 3.0 sports car, but is a lot of work to move the battery, mod or change the the rear bumper, remove fume filter, etc.

Next down the list is a 'T' pipe quad and finally a simple back box change.

Lots of write ups if you search.

How much work does the T pipe involve?
 
If you can cut steel and weld the t option is possible to DIY. It dose take time and patients. I am doing one next weekend for a member I will get as many pictures as I can and do a little write up.
