Exercise?

I have no clue about any of these types of classes but around 15 years ago I started doing Muay Thai (for those that don't know it's a particularly brutal full contact martial art). I entered a room full of the type of people I'd spent most of my life trying to avoid. For the most part they turned out to be very friendly, so much so that I kept going for the next 10 years until I then decided to step things up a bit and start training MMA.

The point is. Get along and get involved. The unknown may seem or even look scary but more often that not it's just different. You may find that you don't enjoy it, if that's the case try something else. As my coach always says to me "getting to the gym is the hard part".

Also, what's with the 8 week limit?
