Woots, get yourself a blank service book and send it round the dealers to get it stamped.

If I give a dealership my key am I right in thinking they can bring up any service history?

I'm guessing that's only bmw service history tho??

serious... yet another thread that confirms to me ill stick with girlfriend/boyfriend status.... marriage get way to nasty imo..... especially as the stats say theirs probability a younger marriage will fail.....

or be smart, get engaged and leave it their for 10 years.... :!: :!:

Yep, I got it wrong twice. Nothing wrong with marriage I just married the wrong ones. As for common law, its a myth. if your not married she's not entitled. Only in some cases when youve been together for so long do they look at non=married couples and what they have contributed over the years. My ex contributed ZERO, a big F all, and got half of everything. It's one reason why Im thinking of leaving this country and going back to a simple life chopping wood in Canada.

I'm not getting married again...........I'l just find a woman I cant stand and buy her a house

I used Ben at BM keys for a new key. £50. You dont need to go to him. You can remove the imobiliser module in 10 mins and post that with your key to him special delivery. He will send it back the next day.

The module sits above the offside kick panel. Drop the panel below the steering wheel and its a white module about the size of a pckt of fags. 1 connector and 2 nuts hold it on. You dont need to disconnect the battery either. You dont need any special tools or skills. 10mm socket is all you need.

Great service and support from ben. Email him or phone him.
