Thanks carl.

I agree with some of the points but the MC lacking body rigidity and body control??? I NEVER noticed ANY scuttle shake and i think the car remains quite flat when you're giving it some, flatter than say the E46 M3 that they also mention.

thx guys :)
But everything they say in that article you can find it on the evo site for over a year or so :)
I love my Z4M :)

It was my Z4MC in Evo. I was so pleased with the photos. Pride comes before a fall though. I came out of a French supermarket last week to find that it had been hit by a French driver. How she managed to hit a stationary car is beyond me. I'd parked at the far reaches of the car park to try and avoid it getting dinged too

Insurance claim is underway, but it's looks like it will take awhile.

Cool. Can't put nothing past the French and their parking skills :headbang:

The really worrying thing is, she wasn't parking - she was driving past it (from what I can work out).

The MR is actually quite stiff when compared to other cars and the MC is nearly off the scale...

CBGB, sorry to hear your car was pranged. Hopefully it won't take too long to sort.

I am interested though, did you get a chance to have a chat with them about their thoughts on the car? Especially this business about the lack of body rigidity? Did you get to stay down there for the day and have a play or was it turn up and hand the keys over?

What a disapointing article. I found it to me very negative, they state that they didn't gel with the car how it wasn't hardcore enough. The magazine bugs me actually, it's far too predictable, contains errors and it raves on about damping a little too much imho!!

Weird really as they must have favoured it to have it in that article in the first place?! Poorly conceived :headbang:

Funny how they got another basic fact wrong - the Z4MC/R has a unique gearbox... It is not the 6-spd GETRAG box found in the E46M3, but a ZF box. The GETRAG does not fit in the transmission tunnel of the Z4MC/R. Seriously annoying bunch of tw  ts...

Tis a bit strange, especially as Evo gave the Z4M the nod over the Cayman S and a tuned 350Z in an old article. Must have forgotten about that one
