EVO 135i vs Type R

Apart from that the purpose of these cars are pretty much the opposite of a drag race, I wonder if they use launch control or traction control.
That makes a big difference.
You can see a shot from the honda where it looks like traction control is off, but there is no indication that that shot is a shot from the actual race and I dont know if with the honda off is really off. When the honda drives away the pulsating motion of the wheels look like there is some regulating going on.
 
...the rwd will always get better traction off the start.
I think the type r does pretty well to be only two tenths down.
The regulating traction / brake force control slow mo for the type r is interesting, it had a tc disable switch, not sure if they turned off for the test.

Was just surprised how close the rwd vs fwd, but not to forget the 4wd hyper hatches will shave another 1second off those times too...

But as we know it's not all about 0-60drag times
