Everyone's kind of parking

 Exiled Scot in Maidstone
Parked up early at a local retail park with these two guys there before me. Wide corner spaces, next to a pathway with no chance of trolleys, and a guy in a shiny lowered Fiesta ST pulled into one of the remaining large ones out of shot just after I took this. Felt a strange sense of affinity with them all :D

ok but the car on the right as parked near a pathway to the steps, possibilities of damage from numpties carrying bags

Nicely centered between the lines bing! ....Sometimes doesn't stop some complete tit parking their people carrier 3 inches from your door though. I like those occasional parallel spaces that have NO ONE either side best

Quite low probability though - just dealers up there, no shops.

Could you not have parked in the BMW dealer behind you? :)

Seriously, would you leave your car parked at a dealers unless they were working on it :| that particular one has very tight spaces too

:D ... As the spaces get wider to the back they can open their doors as far as they like. I guess there's a small risk of them hitting the car on the way into the space... Or if it's a van, partially blocking you in.

Added bonus - winter sun, roof down, back roads cruise home :driving:

As a reward for being fantastic, I shall shortly clean her inside and out

Rub it in - some of us have to work today :x

And the M and the X5 were used this week, the license plate of the X5 is not even readable anymore. The M looks clean but I need to get the underneath desalted ...

I don't have a white car anymore, it's mud coloured now. Perhaps I should start using the roads instead of the fields to get to work :D

Like the parking spot Bing. We have some of these at our Tesco and always park in them early in the morning with Mrs Hutch's car.

I sneaked out for 2 hours, that is how long it took me to clean the X5 ...

Snow foamed, under carriage foamed / sprayed and cleaned with that Karcher wheelie thingy, washed twice and rinsed with distilled water.

All clean in the garage now. Will stay there for a bit as well, Polo it is :D

Mine is also clean - took me 4 hours though, did the interior too

Think I might take Mrs B's car to pick WB up later

Is that 4 hours washing or 10 minutes washing followed by a 15 minutes cigarette break?

I know what you smokers are like for cutting down on the real work :fuelfire:

Imagine if there's a fire though, Dan! All those people - many with young kids - assembling right on top of your car. Some may be swinging their keys and newly-purchased lighting fixtures around aimlessly; some might actually be on fire themselves.
