Can't say I regret selling any of them. Loved lots of them but it was time to move on.

A 1963 Series IIA Landrover that I spent nearly two years restoring only to sell at a considerable loss because my girlfriend (now wife) didn't get on with it 
I took it out in the rain once having omitted the door seals and rubber strip between the screen and roof - it was like sitting in a mobile shower cubicle
It was noisy, uncomfortable, terrible on fuel (about 17mpg regardless of how it was driven) and slow but I loved it to bits.

Oh - it was Lotus Racing Green with a Lotus Racing Yellow roof if anyone has spotted it (thou i would think it is in the great petrol graveyard in the sky by now :sad

A red Mini Clubman in 1984.
We'd stuck a 1300 engine in it and moved the seat mountings back.
We'd put wheel arch extensions and wide wheels on it.
Quickest thing up to 40mph around at the time so driving round town aged 19 was great fun.
Over 40 and everything went back past as we had the gearing hopelessly wrong.
Sold it to buy a mk4 cortina. Wished I never had as that blew up on the M4 a week later at 85mph.
Blew the pistons out. Blew the bonnet loose. Big bang, smoke, noise and then sat on the embankment watching it smoke
Had a brand new XR2 in 1987, which I wrote off hitting a stationary car at 70mph on a dual carriageway one morning. :dizzy: That's another story! Maybe a thread for the best car we've written off....?
A Ford Cougar V6 when I got a company car. I lost the car when I changed jobs 3 months later! Man I loved that Ford. Upside was I found an old 328i which introduced me to BMWs.

Mine would be my 1987 Mini (cooper look-a-like) 1000cc engine and felt like a speed demon, couldn't put the headlights on at the same time as the wipers, made it interesting on rainy nights, leaves came through the fans etc.. 3 years after selling it I knew the buyer who offered me a drive (trip down memory lane) I was so disappointed everything I remember it being it was no more !
So it would have to be my 2000 MR2-GT Rev 5 Sonic Shadow I loved that thing!

I regret selling my first Z4, it was pretty nice to have a pre-facelift with red sports seats and clear headlights. I never did like the grey plastic dash though :| and I would probably have made the excuse to jump up to an M by now anyway.
I'd love to try a couple of other cars, but I know I'll regret selling my current Z4M to do so, plus I need to try and have enough saved to buy a house without having to sell the M and buy a cheapo car.
My Toyota corolla GT AE82 (front wheel drive) I had two of them, one red the other white. Loved it!! Definately like another if there are any rust-free examples about!
