Eventuri sticker (zero priority thread)

This is a totally pointless thread, just putting that out there as I feel bad for consuming internet space with this!
The Eventuri intake kit comes with a couple of quite nice (imo) branded stickers, and I was unexpectedly indecisive on where to put them... if I was going to use them at all.
Just wondering if any of the other guys who've bought the kit have put the sticker anywhere imaginative? I went for x1 sticker under the rear ///M badge. I appreciate it's a non-issue and makes no difference to anything, but y'know, just wondering. As there was two, I was tempted to put one on either side of the car possibly along the skirts, but I couldn't vision that looking very good.

Are they easy to remove ?
A nice decal on the right side that made the keyhole disappear would interest me but no idea what :?

You could move the ///M badge over the keyhole.

Always wondered why they didn't incorporate it into the badge as they did with the coupe :? bad detail imo that hardly ever gets used

Confused as to what you mean. There's a keyhole on both sides surely, which is in the same place in the coupe and roadster?

The boot lid Carl - the coupe integrates the handle into the BMW emblem.

Edit - I've just checked some photos of mine and there isn't a keyhole in the passenger door handle either

Or mine - keyhole on driver's door only

Never understood why they didn't adopt the coupe boot opening mechanism, especially after the E86 was launched, would make it so much cleaner on the rear.

OP like the sticker where it is

Is there another thread on the Eventuri intake? Price looks good but I have questions...

I keep wondering Aeros or Intake ? Intake or Aeros ?

I've not seen one.
In which case how easy is it to fit? And does it make the induction sound like a TVR Tamora?

Both

Couldn't believe how quiet Bings car was when I went in it on Saturday. Wouldn't be without mine now.

The combination of an induction system and the right exhaust can be perfect. Neither my aFe or Remus boxes are especially loud but they don't overwhelm each other either. The combination is perfect and turns heads everywhere (even though some have angry faces  ).

I am looking at options on backboxes to compliment my Eventuri. It sounds like you have stuck the perfect balance between exciting enough when your on it to properly muted when your cruising.. have you got any vids of the sound of your Remus's?

Hi Phil, I don't have any good videos from outside the car. However, I have one from a wet track day a few years ago demonstrating acceleration from a standing start up to about 120mph. The generator keeping the tent inflated is rather intrusive on the sound track as is the Lotus 211! Click on the link:

Sounds good  Throaty, deeper but still OEM like and not over the top insane! I assume you never had any trackday noise level issues with um?

It measures 85-88 db at 1m and 45 degrees from the tailpipe with the engine at 4500rpm (the usual method of measuring noise levels). The limit is commonly around 99 db so it's well within the restrictions.
