Morning All,

For Sale my Eventuri Kit in very good condition.

This has been on the car for ~4 years, and maybe 8,000miles, almost exclusively in the dry.

The Carbon Fibre is absolutely immaculate, shines up really well. This is the later V2 design with the improved air filter and black coated fixings, with zero corrosion.

There is a bit of minor damage to the foam front pad where it has rubbed on the bracket near the top of the radiator when installed. This cannot be seen when the kit is fitted (I bunged a pic of when it was fitted to the car to show), but is obvious when removed! There are also a couple of minor marks on the metal bracket where it has rubbed in the engine bay. I've touched this in with Permanent marker since taking the pics, it is again not visible when fitted.

My car came fitted with An RPI Air scoop; as such I never bothered to fit the red Eventuri scoop, and this is brand new , complete with the fixings and sticky pad to mount it.

Please note my MAF sensor is NOT included in the sale, I will remove this prior to the kit up ready for sale.

The kit will come packed back up in the original Eventuri box ready for the new owner to enjoy. This really is a fantastic bit of kit, the noise is really great, and there is fairly strong evidence that these perform better than a Carbon Airbox, albeit with a little less noise!

I'm looking for £550 + delivery.

I will be travelling between Derby & Frimley 1st & 3rd Sept, and more than happy to meet at a mutually convenient spot en-route if that helps :)

Thanks for looking!

Ed

Good price. Why the sale? One of the best mods I have done.
I've finally taken the plunge and got a carbon airbox :) I wouldn't otherwise be selling - agree with you it's a fantastic mod!

What’s the difference between a gruppe m and eventuri?
Shades of the same thing, but the Eventuri has been very well designed using a lot of CFD to optimise the flow and does appear from a variety of independent sources to be the most optimal for improving power. Gruppe M is I believe a little louder as the filter is smaller and less enclosed, but the finish isn't as good, and it's more likely to suffer head-soak as a consequence of the head-shielding being less enclosed.
Horses for courses end of the day - and I hold my hand up that I can't truly speak from experience having never had a Gruppe M!

Gruppe M is great and best mod I've done, but would love one of those limited edition Eventuris they did in body colour!

Best mod ever. According to a few sources just a couple of hp shy of the full fat csl carbon airbox with stock cams

Without a tune you’re likely to see zero HP increase…which is probably the same as a carbon airbox.

It’s just more noise making it sound faster - purely psychological - and yes, I had one fitted for a few years.

I think Sajk might be implying that it'd need a map - given that the Airbox needs a map to make it run using the IAT instead of the MAF! But I take your point.

Martyn (Ecuworx) who was on here with the dct swapped supercharged Z4M posted his old thread up about his cammed Phoenix Yellow M3 which made more power than the airbox, and that was after a half-day of fully optimising the tunes on each on a rolling-road(!)

Sold and collected to an absolute gentleman this morning :) safe travels lifeinthefastlens - hope the eventuri does you as well as it did me :)
