Eventuri/Evolve CSL set up

I have a karbonius airbox in my z4m, the airbox is pretty much the same as evolve.

i went with a certain tuner and while the power was amazing, it wasnt driving very smooth at lower rpms. So i decided to go with Evolve for the alpha-n tune and it was night and day difference. I'm not exaggerating, the car drove better than stock, it was just perfect, never stalled once, perfect idle in hot or cold temps. It developed great power, won against every other s54 car from 100-250kmh :driving: and they all had an airbox and alpha-n. One bonus thing is the car consumed less gas after the evolve tune than ever before.

I highly recommend Evolve, also they sent the modified tuning file in less than 24 hours.

Thanks for the advice, I definitely haven’t ruled out Evolve and the Alpha N Map,

I know they’ve solved all the previous gremlins!

I had my Alpha-N re-map carried out by Paul Smith at PCS Tuning under the recommendation of Matt at ETA Motorsport at Brands Hatch. Works perfectly with my Karbonius CSL airbox.

I’d use Josh if I were you for the tune. Just have a look at the positive reviews coming from using him, myself included. Evolve has a rubbish reputation for any issues that come up, just have a look what happened with their initial CSL intake tune. It’s easy enough to install the csl intake yourself. Martyn is also a good choice from what I’ve heard.

What you don’t want is an off the shelf tune. Which is what most sell. You might also want to do some research into what happens to your power curve if you install the csl intake. You’ll probably loose some low down torque as a trade off (where have I heard that before) for a few upper end ponies. But make no mistake, win or loose some ponies, that sound is intoxicating. One of the best mods I ever did back then. (Even though my track times became slightly slower, under the Epic tune)

I absolutely loved my Evolve Box. If I were UK based I would certainly do their tune. I used TTFS here for the remap. I made 265whp but on a tough dyno.
