Eventually found my gimp wind deflector after staring at it countless times

I took my gimp wind deflector off in November because the roof wouldn't be down much and it restricts visibility a bit, I seem to remember putting it in a safe, dry, warm place.

As the sun started to come back a few weeks ago I went to put it back on, I couldn't find it anywhere, I looked everywhere in the house and the garage.

I had just accepted I was going to have to replace it which I didn't feel great about because they aren't cheap and I knew it was in the house somewhere.

Today whilst looking for something else entirely I reached down into a dark cupboard I'm in everyday to move something and grabbed this leathery meshy contraption, the gimp!!! Typical guy I couldn't see it for looking at it.

It's now back in it's rightful place and won't be coming off again as it's a pain to fit and I'll probably lose it again.

Saved myself £150

I always find that a dark cupboard is the best place for your leathery, meshy gimp stuff.

Mine came with one attached - it was an utter ball ache getting it on or off! I ended up drilling and fitting the clip-in jobbie.

I also lose most things in plain sight :?

On the very rare ocasions I'm not using my gimpy thing, I store it in the boot in the gimpy thing holder. :?

I think may have the wrong gimpy thing. Mine clips in and out.
