Event Potentum tyres?

New out, 4 x 225/45/17 for £142, rated C and B. Would these be okay as a new set or frowned upon? Looking for thoughts.

Can't really grumble for that money , i have had Event tyres a while back on a Passat workhorse & they did the job fine .
You can't expect Michelin grip but they should be fine for the first 3mm , as with most budget brands its the last few mm that shows the difference from the big names as they tend to perform the same right down to the bars

Hells Bells £142 for all 4 corners! Didn't think that was possible (or desirable) for a sports car like the Zed? I have Event tyres on my Hyundai i30 but wouldn't have considered them for my Zed - interesting.

They are cheap but they are cheap for a reason!
