Eurotour 2015 --- 27/04/2015-03/05/2015

I am ok with not doing a track day or any track time. It will save £££££

Stickers are a must i think. And no bother with any car coming either.

Well done Bad on preparing all this. We're very keen and looking forward to this years trip in a couple of weeks.

Having driven the Route 500 North heading into Baden Baden I can confirm it is fabulous and will be doing that also in a few weeks.

Coming from Scotland - Dover is not particularly easy for us ( I think some on our forum tend to forget we're not all based in the South of England ! ) as this involves a 500 mile trip to the start point ! So we may take a Ferry from Newcastle or Hull and meet you somewhere but will confirm that nearer the time.

I do accept that there as so many variables, as organiser it's important that you make some of your own decisions - most of us I feel will be happy to tag along enjoying the moment. If for example some autobahn was needed on the leg north of Baden Baden I think many would welcome that too.

I'm hoping I can encourage more from the North ! Well done so far !

Well I was just looking at what could be the first part of the trip. I was thinking it may be easier to just choose a starting point in Belgium (Ieper for example) where those coming from across the channel could have a hotel sleepover the night before. Then everyone can choose how to get to the starting point. I'm thinking Bruges is not a good place to go through as you really need a day to visit that properly. And Ieper is more or less in the middle between Calais and Knokke (coming from Hull).

I would love to do this money depending.

Do we have a ball park figure for this? if it's no more than 2-3 grand I should be good.

It will depend... I'm not sure yet whether I should foresee hotels myself or just recommend some and let everyone book for themselves. I don't really want to be responsible for all bookings, especially if some don't show up but the hotels still have to be paid... So I'm thinking to just organise the tours, the stops and the restaurants (or locations with sufficient resto's available) but to let everyone book the hotels for themselves. In that case you can choose for yourself how cheap or expensive it should be... I have a busdriver friend who may have some cheap addresses :-)

I will probably be on a tight budget. If i make it every time i plan anything to do with my car. It seems to sabotage its self stupid bloody car!!!

Hope you can make it though!

Well i will be trying to. I have as you know been working tirelessly on my car all summer to get it track ready. Got it all done and ready Sunday. Only then to find an oil leak so i think my car hates me!!

I think we should all try and stay at the same hotel....not too shabby and not too 5 star....just 3 star...IBIS or the like.....I am happy to make enquiries with hotels etc, and prices etc....I just need a list of towns we are stopping in and on what dates etc....

I agree but I am trying to stay to a £1000 budget. That's tunnel hotels petrol food drink and speeding tickets!! Is that a reasonable prospect???

MM not too bad, but fuel is the main cost.......and remember you can always cut short depending on how many days you want.....also you can take a passenger from the forum if you want to and share....and room share too haha...but seriously, it could work

Happy to share a room if someone else wants to keep costs down. I was planing on filling my boot with tools and a tyre!! So my over night bag was going to be my passenger! But if someone wants to tag along in my car I will just bring a tooth brush and a few pairs of pants in the glove box.
