European Head Lights...ARGH!!

Hi All

I have recently had a the joy of de-gingering my 2004 Z4....the headlights got done yesterday....and look fantastic, until they get turned on to beam!!

Having bought them from Pro-Styling in Germany they are made for Europe with the flat line and kick up going towards on coming traffic rather than the pavement.....absolutely gutted as it didn't say anywhere that this was not suitable for RHD UK

Just wondered if anyone knows of how I can sort this beautiful mess out - with as little hassle as possible. I have been directed down the route of an EU to UK beam deflector but would rather them be right....literally!

Any help appreciated, sarcasm not required...

Thanks
Gaz

The set I purchased from an overseas supplier had 4 adjustment screws on the rear of the light unit that allowed for up,down, left, right adjustment to correct the beam pattern.

You can get those stick on light reflectors for use when travelling around Europe to get through an MOT but that's it unfortunately to the best of my knowledge.

Can you set the headlights to flat beam mode with no flick?

I have also de-gingered using z4 headlights, but one of my headlights is from a LHD car. I've had it set to flat beam and adjusted correctly, it's gone through 2 MOTS without even an advisory!

In the long run I will swap out the LHD projector lens unit for a spare RHD lens which I have lying around, or maybe just swap the whole headlight as I have two spare units also for future projects!

Andrew.
