European Break down cover

My september roadtrip is looming, and I am looking at european breakdown cover.

Just wondered if anyone had any companies to recommend? or experiences to share with regards to this matter? I know that the chances are, I will not need them (hopefully), but I am aware that I will be putting 3-4K miles on an 03 3.0i in the space of 2-3 weeks, which is a lot of hard work for a weekend car!

I will probably end up going for RAC, its looking like I can get raodside, recovery & european cover for £147, with an additional £21 cashback. without European cover its £76 so the European cover is costing me about £70.

I have been on comparisson websites and some companies (the green insurance company for example) offer full UK and European cover for around £60, but Im not sure if they have much of a reputation?
 
I took the Eurotunnel one for the ski trip, was around that sort of money. I did not need to use them so can not tell you if they are any good though ...
 
You could add ADAC to the list of possibles. I've just got cover for 2 people in any car for €98. Not had to use them yet, but full Euro cover and free 'ring recovery is included.
 
Good idea as I travel in both cars abroad, I generally have the (wrong) perception that I need the cover for the X5 but have never thought about doing it for the M ...
