Not sure I would, or at least I wouldn't be thrashing it if I did. The drive down and the photo opportunities would be epic. I might need a co-pilot though if I do this though.

I could be co-pilot or + 1 witch ever way you want it. I gt half driving duties with number 69 right??? :poke:

Only if you buy her from the dealer I just traded her in against an M... ;)

Serious about a potential co-pilot though if I do decide to do this, not sure daughter would want to do this trip. Might ping a petrolhead friend (although he'd probably want to then bring his hopped up RX-7...)

We are all on Walkie Talkies so the banter is a real crack on the drive there and back :)

I LOVE walkie talkies! You would all have to put up with my singing.

 ... well you may need to put up with the "The Raptor & Chewbacca Impressions as well"

Patrick, what was the fuel cost like when you did this in the M last time? Rough idea for budgetary purposes?

The M was fantastic Stu she did about 28 mpg I think was really impressed as I drove her VERY hard during points , so not bad at all!!! And on a run 2 up she was pulling early 30’s so really quite economical for a performance car

I'm really interested in this. Im going to do a bit of research into it.

When is the Yay or Nay date?

No deadline as you just need to book ferry/hotels and turn up

Sooner the better though since its 11 weeks away

A couple of chums from Munich with a brace of the new Boxster S potentially interested in driving up and joining...

Sounds good Stu with love to see the new S in action

Guys as Tom said there is NO deadline , but the ferry and hotels will only get mor expensive the closer we get , for example DSF Seaways hve a 20% discount on till the 14th of Jan.

:driving:

Outward crossing 29/03 12:00 (noon) DFDS seaways Dover - Dunkirk

There isn't a set return crossing, some people (me) want a full day in Bruges, others might want to get back to blighty earlier. I'll probably get the 18:00 return crossing to miss the worst of the M25. That's wenesday 03/04.

Don't worry 'this guy' isn't coming with us this year :?

Definitely a maybe and might possibly have a friend interested too but can you please put a bit more detail re exactly which ferry to book (date, time, company), what hotel, are we doing a group booking etc etc...

Sorry to be demanding but I need the info to plan it out. :)

Bloody hell that was a good save from the Celica, how did he miss the barriers?!?!

I'm still a maybe for this...if I do come it'll have to be last minute decision unfortunately as we're (the wife) planning to book a last minute ski holiday but if there's nothing that takes fancy (cheap!) then it'll be a mini UK break and then a go go go for this!
