Euro lights

So after fitting the offside light unit to give some symmetry to the rear of a pre-facelift E85, the clear foglight bulb was replaced with a red bulb.
But... the light emitted from the rear foglight now is just too pale, though plenty bright enough. It's so pinkish I would not be surprised if it's a fail at MOT time.
Those of you who have fitted a new euro light unit to the offside - what make bulb do you use for the foglight, and from where?

cheers

PS - no, it's not turned on in the photo!

I'll have a rummage back through my e-mails/purchase history to try to find where I got mine from. Illuminated it looks red and has passed an MOT.

Where did you manage to source the light from?
Got them from a forum member, though I have seen new ones advertised on ebay. But they're expensive.

Ok thanks - yes I can see a slightly different design available on USA ebay which would give symmetry, but just the single light cluster is £150 plus, shipping would be huge too.

Thanks for the link. However, no prices appear even when proceeding with the order. Any idea - do you need to log in to the site or something?

That's odd, it works for me, I tested it all the way to payment, you don't need to sign in, you can checkout as a guest.

I’d suggest LEDriving premium from OSRAM. You’ll get better output with no colour on the bulb and it will last longer. Not sure if the fog is monitored, if so code out the checks.

Here's my chromed red lights fron the link above, delivered in a frigging jiffy bag. Sigh.
