ETA Motorsport - Kent

I've hailed ETA a few times before but wanted to officially start a post highlighting just how impressed I am with them. Based in West Kingsdown, virtually opposite Brands Hatch in North Kent and just 30 mins from London these guys are highly recommended.

Geoff and Matt operate a small but professional BMW specialist indy and I've taken all 4 Zeds I've owned to them in the knowledge that they'd get the job done quickly, efficiently and at a great price. They do Inspections, diagnosis, welding, servicing; pretty much anything you need and clearly love the work they do.

In a world where finding a decent garage can be the throw of a dice, ETA exhibit the sort of qualities you'd always wished existed and I'll continue to use them for any and all work I need doing.

If you're in London, Kent or even Essex and the near Home Counties you could do a lot worse than pay them a visit.

Good indy's are worth shouting about & as you say very hard to find ones capable of most tasks without serious leverage of your finances

I have used them for my ///M CDV delete and they were very good.

They also recommended me where to go to get my car 4 wheel aligned at a decent price.

Just do what Inkey$ does Steve, drive there and drop your car off and spend a few hours in Brands Hatch watching some racing,a bit of breakfast or lunch

It's just across the road and there's always a track day on. Insp 2 might require a tent but the track does have a campsite :)

Inkey$ - thanks for the heads up on ETA Motorsport. My Z4 coupe has developed a bit of a knock from OSR and I cannot put my finger on it (worn bushes etc).

I only live 3 miles from Brands Hatch (there most weekends) and never knew that ETA Motorsport were in that little estate opposite the Texaco!

Do you think its best to call them to book car in for just a check over or can I just pop round? Doesn't need a service or anything atm, just need to get this noise sorted as its driving me mad

BTW there's a few cafes to go to pretty much next door - Hollyville and Oasis.

Cheers

Lewis

Hi Lewis. They'll sort it for you no bother at all. That industrial estate is like a Gumball Rally meet and recommend calling Matt and Geoff to arrange a time to pop round. Feel free to say David in the red Z3 M Coupe recommended them!

Those cafés are great aren't they! Proper old school style!

Good luck and let us know how you get on

inkey$, Thanks, will let you know how it goes. Will try and get it over there in the next week or so (if they are available)

Lovely car by the way, see a few of these at Silverstone Classics a few weeks ago and they are stunning.

Thanks mate
We should meet at Brands one day too as there are a few forum members local to the area.

Inspection 2 means leaving it over night, so no can do.

Edit, just read Inkey$'s post, and I aint camping

Another thumbs up for ETA Motorsport. Took the MC in for an oil service today. One bacon sandwich and a trip over the road to Brand Hatch later she's done, service light reset and service book stamped. Picked up the car, drove back to Brands and spent the past few hours watching American classics take to the track.

If you live near or can get to West Kingsdown in Kent and looking for a top notch Indy, Geoff and Matt really are worth a visit.

Sounds like a great day, good service as usual

Nearly called you for a beer at about 5.10 when I was sat on the A2 car park, figured you'd be still out or busy though...

If I could get home easier from there I would def use them. My Indi is OK though and not far from work, provides a courtesy car so works for me.

Can you get a direct train from Tonbridge or TW Steve ? With some warning & co-ordination I could taxi you...

No, would have to get to/from Polegate station and then train to Hastings or Redhill and change there for Tonbridge.

When you factor in train fares and extra time required, 2 days of work for inspection 2 it's just not worth it.

Walkers Autotech in Billingshurt is who I'm going to use from now on, they did my Inspection 2 and pleased with what they did. Would like to keep the service book stamped with the same Indi if possible also as chopping and changing doesn't look good in my eyes.

If ETA had a courtesy car though, then would def consider going there.

Might give them a try, mines due an oil service in 1500 miles and @95k it might be a good time to stop using the dealers. Got a 3500 mile euro trip in July so it would be a good idea to get it done before i go away
