Et45 on front

I have been offered some et 45 front 8.5 et 45 9.5 rear in 19 inch, I know the rears are ok what about the fronts will they be ok on a 08 coupe 3.0si been told its ok
 
The wheels should be fine - 225/35 R19 tyres will give the same rolling radius as 225/40 R18. You can play around with wheels and tyres in several web sites - I use this one.

Well you can see that on the web site but if you want it exact - a lower ET pulls the wheel outwards so an 8in ET 45 would sit 2mm further out than a standard 8in ET 47. But you're looking at 8.5in which are about 12mm wider than 8in so they would sit about 4mm closer inside and 8mm further out than standard 8in ET 47 wheels.

Edit: changed the figures a bit as 1/2in is about 12mm
 
RichardG has 19s, similar width, and lowered. From memory, he has no issues with the wheels rubbing...

Yeah you shouldn't have any problems. To keep the same running radius your new 19in tyre profile should equal about 77. For example a profile of 225/35 is 225 x 0.35 = 78.75 which would be OK but a 225/40 would give 90 which would mean the running radius of the tyre would be larger giving you a speedo error.

I don't know what you're thinking about for tyres but 265/30 R19 or at a push 275/30 R19 would fit the rear and 225/35 R19 or 235/35 R19 would fit the front.

Yeah exactly those tyre sizes I'm more worried about how they look if they stick out too much or in thought 45 front be too much my last bbs on a roadster were 40f 45r so paranoid they gonna look strange on front end but we see.havent seen one z4 with 45f 19s

richards are not 45f
 
I'll post the pics over weekend to show , it's the second z4 loved the paint which is carbon black with a blue sort of flip , guy said was only 12 in country same spec if that's true or not who knows
